Overview

This 10,000 L bund tank is the largest containment base we list: a 2,850 mm wide LLDPE bund that sits under a storage tank and catches the contents if the tank leaks, before they reach the ground.

The bund measures 2850 mm across and 1900 mm high and weighs about 180 kg. It is made from LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), a food-grade virgin plastic that is UV resistant and BPA free, so it is built for years outdoors. Note that the internal tank is not included: this is the base bund only, and the maker recommends internal tanks of 2,500 L or 5,000 L. It is for above-ground, stationary use only.
