Overview

This is a 4 inch single-phase submersible borehole motor rated 1.1 kW (1.5 HP), supplied with a control box. It runs on 220 to 240 V at 50 Hz and draws 5.9 A when running. The stainless steel casing is only 95 mm across at its widest, so it goes down the same 4 inch boreholes as the pump ends it drives.

Use this 4 inch borehole motor 1.1kw to replace a failed motor or to power a new pump end. The motor length is 399 mm and the motor alone weighs 10.6 kg, which helps when you plan the rope and the lifting gear. Fees follow total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, over 100 kg on quotation. This unit ships at about 15 kg, in the R550 band.
