Overview

This 36 litre pressure tank mounts either upright or on its side, so it fits tight pump sheds where a tall vessel will not. A carbon steel shell holds an EPDM bladder that separates the water from the air cushion, and the working pressure is 8 bar. It stores pressurised water for a booster pump, which prevents start-ups for demands smaller than its storage volume. The 1″ (25 mm) connection takes a standard five-way fitting with a pressure switch and gauge. Orientation is your choice, so you can place it under a bench, against a wall or beside the pump.

Where it works

Thirty-six litres suits a small to medium house, a farm cottage on a Limpopo borehole or a school ablution block running off a booster. Where ceiling height is limited, lay the tank flat beside the pump. Installers regularly pair it with a flexible hose and a five-way fitting, such as our 25 mm brass five-way connector.
