36 L EPDM Replacement Bladder for Pressure Tanks

Description

Overview

This 36 litre EPDM replacement bladder fits vertical and horizontal pressure tanks with a volume of 36 litres. Fitting a new bladder brings an old pressure vessel back to life for far less than the price of a new tank. The bladder is the flexible liner that holds the water and keeps it apart from the air charge, so when it splits the tank can no longer cushion the pump.

If your pump starts and stops every few seconds, the pressure drops the moment a tap opens, or water spits out of the air valve, the bladder is the first thing to check. A fresh one restores the air cushion and stops short cycling, which saves the pump motor. This bladder is for 36 litre tanks only. For smaller vessels see the 24 L EPDM replacement bladder.

Key features

• 36 litre volume to suit 36 litre pressure tanks
• EPDM rubber construction
• Fits vertical and horizontal pressure tanks
• A low-cost repair compared with a new tank
• Helps stop pump short cycling once refitted
• Check tank volume and fitting style before ordering

Where it works

Pressure tanks of this size sit beside booster pumps in houses, guesthouses, workshops and farm sheds from Limpopo to KwaZulu-Natal. Years of cycling wear the rubber, and a bladder replacement is a quick service job for an installer or a handy owner. Protect the pump as well with a controller from our range of pump controllers and VSDs, for example the 20Y borehole pump controller.
