Description
Overview
The 1,500 L JoJo vertical chemical storage tank is a wide, low shell 1410 mm across and only 1200 mm high, which makes it the choice where headroom is tight or the tank must sit under a roof or shelter. It is moulded from UV-stabilised polyethylene with a thicker wall than the water version, and stands free on a flat, level base. The slimmer 1,000 L chemical tank is taller for its volume.
Key features
- 1,500 L capacity
- 1410 mm diameter by 1200 mm high
- Low profile for tight headroom
- UV-stabilised polyethylene for outdoor use
- Thicker wall than a water tank, medium duty SG 1.4 assumed
- Supplied bare, no pump or fittings
Where it works
The low profile suits spray sheds and workshops on Western Cape vineyards and Free State grain farms, and stores at Limpopo citrus packhouses where roofs are low. Contractors use it for liquid additives at the yard, and municipal depots for treatment chemicals. It is single-wall, so bund it for hazardous liquids and confirm your chemical and density with us before ordering. For a taller 2,700 L option, see the 2,700 L tank in the chemical tank range.

Questions about this product
Why is the 1,500 L tank so low and wide?
It uses a squat shell, 1410 mm across and 1200 mm high, to give more volume where headroom is limited. You need a flat, level base wide enough for the 1410 mm diameter, so measure your space first. A taller tank gives the same volume on a smaller footprint if floor space is the problem.
Can it hold fertiliser or herbicide concentrates?
Many liquid fertilisers and crop chemicals suit polyethylene, but check yours. We assume a medium-duty rating to SG 1.4, so confirm the product, strength and density with us before you order. For strong or dense chemicals we can quote a heavy-duty tank instead.
What does delivery cost for this tank?
The tank ships at 41.3 kg, which falls in our 30 to 60 kg band at R950. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free. Our trucks deliver from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including farms in the Karoo and Western Cape.
