Description

Overview

This 1400 L slimline water tank is 1000 mm across and 2000 mm tall, giving a bit more volume than the 1000 L slimline for the same narrow pathway. It is rotationally moulded from UV-stabilised, food-grade LLDPE and weighs only 35 kg empty. A leaf catcher is supplied, and the two base outlets let you serve a pump and a tap. Compare other water tanks in the range.

Key features

Tall, narrow 1000 mm diameter body for tight spaces
UV-stabilised, food-grade LLDPE
40 mm top inlet and two 40 mm base outlets, sealed red connectors
180 mm lid
Leaf catcher supplied as standard
Light at 35 kg for easy handling

Options

One tank in three colours, all at R 2,720 (VAT incl.). The body, fittings and leaf catcher are identical.

Green, R 2,720: blends into hedges and lawns.
Grey, R 2,720: a neutral match for concrete and paving.
Tan, R 2,720: suits plaster and face brick.

Colours can vary slightly from the photos.

Where it works

It suits townhouse courtyards, side passages and small business yards that harvest roof water. Two outlets let you feed a booster pump on one and a garden tap on the other. Gauteng and Western Cape homes with scarce space get the most from this shape. For a smaller tank see the JoJo 500 L vertical tank; for more volume, the JoJo 2,700 L vertical tank.

Above-ground, stationary use only. Stand it on a level, prepared base and secure it once filled. Installation is not included.

Questions about this product

What is the difference between the 1000 L and 1400 L slimline tanks?

The 1400 L tank is 1000 mm in diameter against 790 mm for the 1000 L slimline, and both are 2000 mm tall. You gain 400 L for a slightly wider base, so check your passage width first.

Does it have two outlets?

Yes. There is one 40 mm inlet at the top and two 40 mm outlets at the base, so you can feed a pump and a tap, or two separate lines, from the same tank.

How much is delivery to Mahikeng?

At 35 kg it falls in the 30 to 60 kg band at R950. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days.
