Description

Overview

This 1 inch swivel hose fitting is a reusable hose end for 1″ fuel hose with a 360° swivel built into it. You screw the socket over the hose and the nipple into it with two spanners, then the nozzle connects to the swivelling end and turns freely.

It replaces a crimped end plus a separate swivel at the nozzle end of a high-flow line. If you prefer a separate swivel, the compact 1″ nozzle swivel is the budget option, and the 360° nozzle hose swivel suits 3/4″ BSP nozzles.

Key features

1″ NPT with 360° swivel
Large 27.8 mm bore keeps flow high
Chrome-plated brass, resists corrosion
Reusable on the next hose
Hand fitted with spanners

Where it works

Use the 1 inch swivel hose fitting on the nozzle end of dispenser hoses at transport depots, truck stops and mine fuel bays, and on the delivery hose of trailer bowsers that fill plant on site. Farms in the Free State and North West that fill tractors and combines straight from bulk tanks get a fast, free-turning nozzle without paying for a crimped hose assembly. If the hose is damaged later, cut it back and refit the same end. See all fuel nozzle spares.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces, normally in 1 to 3 days. This fitting ships at 0.6 kg, so on its own it sits in the up-to-30 kg band at R550. Fees go by total order weight, so a part this light rarely moves a bigger order into a higher band, and orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) travel free. Tell us your nearest town when you order and we will confirm the delivery day. Ask us for the warranty terms on this model.

Questions about this product

Will this fit my 1 inch dispenser hose?

It is made for 1" fuel hose. Check your hose outside diameter, because reusable sockets grip the outer cover and need a close match. If you are unsure, measure the hose across the outside and send us the figure with your order, and we will confirm the fit before dispatch.

Can I put it on a hose that already has a crimped end?

Yes, but only on the cut end. Cut the old crimped fitting off, keeping the cut square, then fit this reusable end with two spanners. The other end of the hose can keep its crimped fitting. Pressure test the line before putting it back into service at the pump.

How much is delivery to Bethlehem in the Free State?

The fitting ships at 0.6 kg, so it falls in the lowest band: R550 for orders up to 30 kg, Bethlehem included. Our own trucks run from Polokwane and normally arrive in 1 to 3 days. Orders of R20,000 or more including VAT are delivered free.
