Overview

This 1 inch reusable hose fitting is a screw-together hose end: a socket goes over the hose, the nipple screws in from the front and clamps the hose wall between them. You fit it with two spanners, and when the hose wears out you take the fitting off and use it again.

This is the fixed, non-swivel version. If the nozzle end needs to rotate, choose the 1″ swivel reusable hose fitting, or add a compact 1″ nozzle swivel between this end and the nozzle.

Where it works

A 1 inch reusable hose fitting earns its place on remote sites where nobody has a crimping press: farm tanks in the Karoo, contractor bowsers on road jobs, and mine satellite fuel points. Use it on the pump end of a dispenser hose, on bowser outlets and on tank fill lines, where the hose does not need to rotate. Once you have cut back a damaged hose, the fitting goes straight back on.
