Overview

This 1.5 kW (2 HP) variable speed drive is a frequency inverter for 380 V three-phase supplies, with a rated current of 3.7 A. By altering the frequency it raises or lowers the speed of the pump motor, so the pump delivers the duty required by the application at that point in time. Where it works

The 1.5 kW size is the usual choice for a 4 inch borehole pump set, a farm irrigation pump and a mid-sized pressure booster. On a 380 V farm or workshop supply it holds pressure steady and starts the motor gently. Check the motor kW and current against the 3.7 A rating before ordering.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Rustenburg, Bloemfontein and Upington. Delivery fees are set by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
