Overview

The Unitwist Straight Coupler 15mm (model UT2000A) joins two lengths of 15mm Unitwist Monogold pipe in a straight line, using a joint that is both push-fit and compression. It is moulded from PPR plastic, handles hot and cold water and suits farm, home and workshop plumbing. Kamano delivers it nationwide from Polokwane.

Unitwist is built around one idea: a joint that anyone can make. The coupler pushes onto the pipe and locks by compression, so a repair on a pump shed line or a new run to a trough does not need a plumber’s full kit. Use it to join cut ends, extend a run, or splice out a damaged section after a bakkie has caught an exposed pipe. The supplier quotes a design life of 50 years for the system, and a plastic body will not rust the way old galvanised joints do. Always pair it with 15mm Unitwist pipe, because it is sized for that system.
