Overview

The Unitwist reducing coupler, 15mm x 22mm (code UT2000R), joins a 22mm pipe to a 15mm pipe in a straight line. It is the fitting that lets a 22mm main feed a 15mm branch without a bush or threaded adaptor, and both ends are compression and push-fit (CXC), so no glue or special tools are needed. Order it from our pipe fittings range for delivery from Polokwane.

The fitting is made from PPR plastic and sold as part of the SABS approved Unitwist system for hot and cold water. It is intended for use with Unitwist Monogold pipe on both sides.

Where it works

Use it where a main line steps down to branches: from a 22mm tank feed to a 15mm bathroom or kitchen supply, from a 22mm farm main to a 15mm trough line, or at the end of a 22mm run on a small commercial site. It sits well with the 22mm x 15mm reducing elbow when the step-down also needs a corner, and you can run the 15mm side in 6 metre lengths of 15mm pipe.
