Unitwist Stop End Cap 22mm, UT2005B

Description

Overview

The Unitwist 22mm stop end cap (code UT2005B) blanks off the end of a 22mm Unitwist pipe. Use it to close a main line you plan to extend later, to isolate a branch during repairs, or to cap the line for a pressure test. It is a CXFI fitting that grips the pipe with a push-fit and compression joint, so you need no glue or special tools. Order it from our pipe fittings range for delivery from Polokwane.

The cap is made from PPR plastic and is part of the SABS approved Unitwist system for hot and cold water. It is intended for use with Unitwist Monogold 22mm pipe.

Where it works

Caps are used on 22mm mains at the end of a phase of building, on spare tees in a plant room, and on irrigation or stock water mains on farms in the Karoo, around Upington and in the Western Cape. They also let you pressure-test a section before the final connections are made. The 22mm side pairs with a 6 metre length of 22mm pipe and a 22mm straight coupler. For 15mm pipe use the 15mm cap.
