Description
Overview
A stop and float assembly uses a float to control or cut off flow once a set level is reached, which helps prevent overfilling. This is a small, low-cost spare in our fuel station accessories range. The supplier gives very little detail on it: there are no published dimensions, thread sizes or materials, so we do not quote any here. Before you order, tell us the make and model of the equipment it is for, or send a photo of the old part, and we will confirm whether this assembly is the right one. A few minutes of checking beats a second courier run.
Key features
- Float-operated shut-off and level control
- Helps prevent overfilling of a tank or container
- Very light, so it is cheap to freight
- Cheap enough to keep as a workshop spare
- Fit confirmed with you before dispatch
Where it works
Float shut-offs are used wherever a tank or container must not overflow: farm diesel tanks in Limpopo and the Free State, mine fuel bays in Mpumalanga, and depot or forecourt equipment in Gauteng and KZN. A worn or stuck float is a common reason for spills during filling. If the part is for a camlock or hose coupling system, see the camlock 65 mm part A and the camlock 80 mm part A. More small spares are in our fuel station accessories range.

What size is it and what is it made of?
The supplier does not publish dimensions, thread or material for this part, so we show them as on request. Send us the make and model of your equipment, or a photo with a ruler beside the old part, and we will check what you need and confirm before you pay.
