Description

Overview

The 65 mm camlock Part D is the female coupler half of a cam-and-groove quick coupling: two cam arms clamp over the groove of a Part A adaptor to make a sealed joint in seconds, with no tools. It is cast aluminium with a female BSP thread, sized 2.5″ (65 mm).

Order it with the matching 65 mm camlock Part A if you need the mating adaptor. For another size, see the 80 mm camlock Part D.

Camlock joints seal on a gasket in the female coupler, so inspect it for cracks and flat spots before you make up the joint, and use thread sealant on the BSP thread when you screw the fitting onto pipework. Keep both halves clean, because grit on the groove or gasket is the usual cause of weeping joints. Always pair halves of the same size and keep dust caps on fittings that are not in use.
