Overview

This is a replacement glass tube for stainless steel measuring jugs in the 5 L, 10 L and 20 L sizes. The tube is the window you read the volume through, so a cracked or stained one makes the whole jug unreliable for checking a pump or meter. Fitting a new tube is far cheaper than replacing a calibration measure, and it gets the jug back to work the same day. The tube comes in a variant for each jug size, so tell us which jug you own when you order and we will match the length.

Where it works

Measuring jugs live on forecourts, in municipal fuel depots, at mine fuel bays and on farms that check their own bowser meters. They get knocked about on a bakkie load bed, and the glass is the first thing to go. Keep a spare tube in the workshop in Limpopo, Gauteng or the Free State so a broken one does not stop your calibration checks.
