Overview

This fuel grade indicator is a plastic display that tells everyone on site which fuel is being handled. It carries eight positions: super diesel, unleaded, gasoline, diesel, kerosene, fuel oil, Jet A-1 and empty. Setting it correctly takes a second, and it puts the grade in front of the driver, the attendant and the supervisor without anyone having to ask. Mixing grades is one of the costliest mistakes at a forecourt or depot, because a load of diesel in a petrol tank means draining and cleaning, not just an apology. A clear indicator is a cheap safeguard against that.
