1.1 kW Spaflo Spa and Jacuzzi Pump, 230 V, Self-Draining

Description

Overview

The Spaflo 1.1 kW (code 530-3000) is the larger of the two Spaflo spa and jacuzzi pumps, with a 1.1 kW, 230 V single-phase, 50 Hz motor. It is self-draining, so the water runs out of the pump when you switch it off, which helps protect it against freezing in winter. Use it with a sand filter for spa filtration and circulation. Choose it over the 0.75 kW model for bigger spas or when you need more flow. The wider range sits in our pool, pond and spa equipment category.

• Works with a sand filter for filtration
• Manufacturer warranty: 2 years, ask us for the terms

Where it works

This pump suits larger home spas, hotel jacuzzis and plunge pools in Gauteng, Limpopo, the Free State and the Western Cape. In frost-prone areas the self-draining design is a real advantage, because the pump empties itself when it stops. A qualified electrician should install and wire it, and the supply must be properly protected. If you also run a pool, the 0.75 kW Swimflo 2 pool pump handles the main pool circulation, and a Series 2 multiport valve controls the filter. Not sure which size you need? Send us your pool size in litres and your pump size, and we will confirm the right one before you order.
