Overview

The SP46-18 (also listed as VP48A-18) is an 18-stage stainless steel multistage submersible pump for 6 inch boreholes, built around a 30 kW motor. It lifts water up to 241 m and moves up to 66 m³/h, and it gives 36 m³/h (36 000 litres per hour) at 180 m head. The SP46 range is rated at about 46 m³/h nominal flow and suits deep boreholes and high lifts to elevated reservoirs.

• 380V set + water-filled motor + 30A controller (R 44,120): SP46-18 pump end + 30kW 380V three-phase water-filled 6″ motor + 30A intelligent pump controller.
• 525V set: pump + water-filled motor (no starter) (R 58,800): SP46-18 pump end + 30kW 525V three-phase water-filled 6″ motor (starter panel/VSD not included).
• Pump end only (no motor) (R 15,768): SP46-18 pump end (wet end) only, to replace a worn pump end on an existing 30kW 6″ motor.

Oil-filled motors are sealed, rated 25 bar. Water-filled motors are rated 35 bar and can usually be rewound. 525 V sets have no starter, so fit a suitable panel or VSD.
