Overview

The 4SD12/14 is a 4 inch stainless steel multistage submersible borehole pump with a 3 kW motor, built for farm homesteads, drip irrigation blocks and tank filling from medium-depth boreholes. It lifts to 95 m with the outlet closed and passes up to 16.2 m³/h at the end of its curve. In between it delivers 120 L/min at 75 m.

Buy a complete set for your power supply, or just the pump end to replace a worn wet end on an existing 3 kW motor.

Which 4SD12/14 option suits my power supply?

At 3 kW this pump is offered on three-phase power only. Take the 380 V set with the Y1 controller, or the 525 V set with a VSD for soft starting and speed control. If only the wet end is worn, buy the pump end for R 1,464 and keep your 3 kW motor.

What flow will the 4SD12/14 give at my borehole depth?

It gives 60 L/min at 86 m, 120 L/min at 75 m and 210 L/min at 53 m, with 95 m at zero flow. Add your water level depth, the climb to your tank and about 10% for pipe friction, then pick a point on the curve above that total. Send us your borehole details and we will check the match before you order.

Do you deliver the 4SD12/14 to Gqeberha?

Yes. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to Gqeberha and every other province in 1 to 3 days. A complete set ships at about 36 kg, so the delivery fee is R 950 for that weight band. Orders from R20,000 (VAT incl.) are delivered free, so a set plus cable and pipe can qualify.

What else do I need to install a 3 kW borehole pump?

You still need submersible cable, rope, delivery pipe and a base plate, as none are included. The pump fits boreholes of 100 mm internal diameter or more. Get the cable size from your supplier based on the motor current and the depth, and have the installation done by a competent borehole installer.
