Overview

The RXB-300 is the high-flow model in the RXB explosion-proof range, moving 300 L/min of petrol, diesel, paraffin or solvents from a 220V supply. Its cast iron vane pump and explosion-proof motor suit tanker offloading and bulk transfers, where a smaller pump would keep the truck waiting. Ports are 50 mm, and it lifts fuel up to 7 m.

How fast will it offload a fuel tanker?

At about 300 L/min, a 10,000 litre compartment takes roughly 35 minutes, depending on your hose length, lift and filter losses. A smaller pump would take twice as long. Keep the suction line short and straight, and use 50 mm hose throughout to get the best flow.

What generator size does it need?

The pump has a 2.2 kW motor on 220V, so size the generator or supply for 2.2 kW plus start-up surge, which is often two to three times the running load. If your supply is marginal, ask us or an electrician to check it before you order the pump.
