Overview

The D-shaped PVC gutter outlet joins a D-shaped gutter to a downpipe, so rainwater drops out of the gutter and runs down and away from the building. It is fitted at the point where the downpipe meets the gutter, and every gutter run needs at least one. Made from durable PVC in tan, it resists weather, corrosion and UV exposure and suits both new installations and replacements.

Where it works

Use the outlet on houses, garages, carports, shops, farm sheds and any commercial building with a D-shaped gutter. It also suits rainwater harvesting systems, where the downpipe leads to a tank, and stormwater management where water must be carried clear of walls. The gutter should be fitted with a slight slope towards the outlet so water drains well in heavy rain, which matters on the Highveld and the KwaZulu-Natal coast where storms arrive fast. Water that leaves the gutter cleanly protects walls, foundations and the ground around them from excess moisture. Combine the outlet with a 4 m D-shaped gutter length and fascia brackets, and look through the rainwater harvesting range if the downpipe feeds a tank. For longer roofs you can place an outlet at each end of a run.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Richards Bay, Mahikeng and Bloemfontein. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free.
