Description

Overview

The D-shaped PVC gutter bracket holds a D-shaped gutter firmly against the fascia board and keeps the whole run in position. It is the part that decides whether your gutter stays level and sheds water properly, or sags and overflows in the first heavy storm. It is made from durable PVC in tan and is used on residential and commercial buildings.

Key features

Made for D-shaped gutter systems
Fixes the gutter to a fascia board
Helps keep the correct alignment and fall
Limits movement and sagging when the gutter fills
PVC that resists weather, corrosion and UV exposure
Lightweight and quick to install
Low maintenance

Where it works

Use this bracket on house roofs, carports, garages, farm sheds and commercial buildings that carry a D-shaped gutter. A gutter full of water is heavy, and in summer rainfall areas such as Limpopo, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal a gutter can fill in minutes. Brackets spaced evenly along the run take that load and stop the gutter pulling away from the fascia. Fit them so the gutter keeps a slight slope towards the outlet, because the bracket position is what sets that fall. Use extra brackets close to corners and joints. The bracket works with the D-shaped gutter corner and the 3 m D-shaped gutter length, and the whole system can feed a tank from our rainwater harvesting range. It also suits replacement jobs where a single cracked bracket is letting the gutter drop.

Questions about this product

How many brackets do I need per gutter length?

We do not publish a fixed spacing because it depends on your roof, the gutter length and local rainfall. As a rule, space them evenly, add one near every corner and joint, and fit the gutter with a slight fall towards the outlet. Ask us if you want help counting for a particular roof.

Does this bracket fit steel or round gutters?

No. It is made for D-shaped gutter systems. Check your gutter profile before ordering. Send us a photo of the gutter end if you are unsure and we will tell you whether it matches.

Can I order just a handful of brackets and have them sent to Mbombela?

Yes, we deliver to Mbombela and all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days. Brackets are very light, so they fall in the first delivery band of R550. Add gutter lengths, corners and an outlet to the same order to share that fee.
