Overview

This is a 3 m length of D-shaped gutter made from PVC, used to collect roof runoff and carry it to an outlet and downpipe. It is the right length for short roof edges, lean-tos, carports and the last section of a longer run, where a 4 m or 6 m length would leave an offcut. The 3 m size is also easy to carry up a ladder and straight into the brackets.

Where it works

Use a 3 m length on garages, carports, small houses, guard rooms, farm outbuildings and the short side of a larger roof. Good gutters protect walls and foundations from splash and standing water, and in dry regions such as Limpopo and the Northern Cape they let you catch the few heavy storms you get and send that water to a tank. Fit the gutter with a slight fall towards the outlet and support it on fascia brackets. Close the open end with a stop end and fit an outlet where the downpipe connects. Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Gqeberha, Upington, Richards Bay and Polokwane. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free.
