Overview

This 4 m length of D-shaped PVC gutter collects roof runoff and sends it to the outlet and downpipe, protecting walls and foundations from water damage. Four metres is a practical middle size: long enough to cover a typical house side with few joints, short enough to handle on a ladder without a helper. It is made from PVC in tan and fits the rest of the D-shaped system.

Where it works

A 4 m length suits house roofs, double garages, carports, workshops and farm sheds. On properties in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga, where heavy afternoon storms are common, a properly fitted gutter keeps water off the walls and moves it to a drain or tank. Hang the gutter on fascia brackets with a slight fall towards the outlet, and finish the run with a gutter outlet. Every joint is a place for a leak, so choose lengths that give you the fewest joints along the roof line. If your roof edge is 8 m, two of these will do it without an offcut. Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Johannesburg, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Mbombela, East London and Klerksdorp. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free.
