Big Blue 10 Inch Single Filter Housing Wall Bracket

Description

Overview

This is the wall bracket for a Big Blue 10 inch single filter housing, model code FBSW. It holds one housing to a wall, including an outside wall, so the filter stays upright and off the floor. It is strong, durable and simple to fit. The bracket is supplied alone: bolts are not included, so you choose the fixings to suit your wall. Pair it with the Big Blue 10 inch single filter housing and browse our full range of water filters.

Where it works

A filter housing full of water is heavy and the plumbing connections do not like to carry the weight, so a proper bracket is worth the few rand. Use it on a brick or concrete wall beside a JoJo-style tank stand, on the outside wall of a house on a borehole in Limpopo, or in a utility room in Gauteng. Choose wall plugs and screws or bolts that suit the wall type: masonry anchors for brick, and a through bolt for lightweight panels. Fit the bracket level and plumb before you connect the pipes, leave room beneath the housing to unscrew the bowl when you change the cartridge, and fit the 10 inch cartridge such as the 5 micron polypropylene sediment cartridge once the housing is secured.
