Description

Overview

The aluminium camlock Type B has a female camlock coupler on one end and a male BSP thread of the same size on the other. The thread screws into a female-threaded fitting, and the coupler accepts any male camlock adaptor of the same size.

The aluminium body is light to carry yet hard-wearing for repeated connecting and disconnecting on pump and delivery lines. Ask us about seal material before using it with chemicals. Browse the full pipe fittings range for the other camlock types.

Questions about this product

Where does the male BSP thread of a Type B go?

Into a female-threaded fitting of the same nominal size, such as a socket on a tank outlet, valve or pump port. The female coupler end then accepts any male camlock adaptor of the same size, for example a Type A.

Can I connect a Type B straight onto a Type A?

Yes. A Type B female coupler locks onto a Type A male adaptor of the same size, as long as both are the same nominal size. Close the cam arms to lock the joint and open them to release it, with no tools needed.

Which sizes and prices are available?

The Type B comes in 50, 65 and 75 mm. Prices run from R 136 for the 50 mm size to R 237 for the 75 mm size, VAT incl., so pick your size from the options on this page. Each size has its own product code, which makes re-ordering easy.

Do you deliver to Bloemfontein?

Yes. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to Bloemfontein and the rest of South Africa in 1 to 3 days. A single fitting weighs well under 1 kg, so it falls in the up to 30 kg band at R550, and orders of R20,000 or more ship free. Add other fittings to the same order to share the delivery fee.
