Overview

This 30 kW, 525 V oil-filled 6-inch borehole motor is the submersible drive unit that sits below a multistage pump end and turns it. It is supplied with 6 m of motor lead and is rated to 25 bar. The sealed oil-filled design keeps the windings isolated from the borehole water. It is a sensible choice where the water is aggressive, sandy or untested, and it is what you will find on many existing installations.

The 525 V rating draws less current than a 380 V motor of the same power, which eases cable and starter sizing on long drop cables and mine or large-scheme supplies. It needs a suitable starter panel, soft starter or VSD fitted by your electrician, and none is included.

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Polokwane, Mbombela, Rustenburg, Kimberley, East London and Pietermaritzburg.
