Overview

The 4SD16/6 is a 4-inch stainless steel multistage submersible pump that lifts water up to 38 m, with flows up to 21 m³/h (350 L/min), on a 1.5 kW motor. Buy this 1.5kw borehole pump as a complete set for your power supply or as a pump end only. It fits boreholes with an internal diameter of 100 mm or more.

To size it, add water depth, height to your tank and about 10% for pipe friction. The pump’s head at your flow must exceed that total. Browse the whole range in our borehole pumps category.

Where it works

This is a low-lift, high-volume pump: topping up farm dams and reservoirs, filling tanks on Limpopo and Mpumalanga farms, and stock watering from shallow boreholes. At 150 L/min it still lifts 30 m.
