Overview

This 2 litre vertical pressure tank is the small accessory that sits on a VSD booster pump to take the edge off pressure swings. A variable speed drive already holds pressure steady by adjusting pump speed, and a little stored volume lets the drive settle between demands instead of hunting. Compatible with the AR200 VSD Intelligent Pump Controller range and other VSD booster pump kits, it is one of the cheapest upgrades in our pump controllers and VSD accessories.

Because it holds only two litres, this tank is not a replacement for a full pressure vessel. Think of it as a shock absorber for the control loop, not a water reserve.

Where it works

Fit it on a domestic VSD booster in a Gauteng suburb, a farm homestead in Limpopo or a guest lodge where constant pressure matters and load-shedding makes pumps restart often. The small buffer helps the controller respond smoothly when a single tap opens or closes.
