24 L EPDM Replacement Bladder for Pressure Tanks

Description

Overview

This is a 24 litre EPDM replacement bladder for vertical and horizontal pressure tanks with a volume of 24 litres. It lets you repair a tired pressure vessel on a pump set instead of buying a whole new tank. The bladder is the flexible part inside that holds the water and separates it from the air charge, and when it splits the tank stops doing its job.

Typical signs of a failed bladder are a pump that cycles on and off every few seconds, pressure that drops quickly, or water coming out of the air valve. A new bladder usually restores the cushion that protects the pump from short cycling. Check the tank volume before you order, because this one is for 24 litre tanks. For the 36 litre size see the 36 L EPDM replacement bladder.

Key features

• 24 litre volume to suit 24 litre pressure tanks
• EPDM rubber construction
• Fits both vertical and horizontal pressure tanks
• A low-cost repair compared with a new tank
• Helps stop pump short cycling once refitted
• Confirm your tank size and fitting style before ordering

Where it works

Small pressure tanks sit next to booster pumps and borehole pumps on homesteads, lodges, guesthouses and smallholdings from Limpopo to the Western Cape. When the bladder wears after years of cycling, a replacement keeps the system going until the next service. Pair it with a controller from our range of pump controllers and VSDs, such as the 20Y borehole pump controller, for full pump protection.
