Overview

This combo is a 2300 L horizontal yellow polyethylene tank for diesel or chemicals, mounted on a 2500 mm steel stand with a hose kit. The raised tank lets gravity push diesel to a hose, meter and nozzle, so you can fill bakkies and machines without a pump. Kamano delivers it nationwide.

The tank is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE with moulded ribs, UV resistance and a black inner liner. It is fitted with an 80 mm breather and two 15 to 20 mm copper fittings. The stand is made from galvanised-bolted, primer-painted steel angle and flat bar for rust prevention. The tank alone weighs 110 kg as listed by the maker, and the complete combo with stand and hose kit ships at about 190 kg. The maker lists the tank for transport and stationary use.

Where it works

Farms in Limpopo and the North West use this size to fuel tractors and bakkies on site. Contractors and small mines in Mpumalanga and the Northern Cape keep one at the plant yard. Secure the tank when full, keep it above ground, and check local rules for bulk diesel storage on your property. Installation is not included.

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Kimberley, Mahikeng, Mbombela and Richards Bay.
