Overview

This 18.5 kW solar pump inverter is the biggest solar pump drive we stock. It converts DC power from solar panels into three-phase AC for pump motors up to 18.5 kW, with no grid connection. MPPT (maximum power point tracking) draws the most from the panels as conditions change, and the output runs up to 38 A across 0 to 600 Hz. It drives surface and submersible pumps on large irrigation schemes, deep boreholes and water transfer systems.

Where it works

Use it where a large pump must run on solar alone: pivot irrigation in the Free State and Limpopo, orchards and vineyards in the Western Cape, mine dewatering in Mpumalanga and municipal borehole fields. It cuts diesel and grid costs and keeps water flowing through load-shedding. Keep the panel string between 540 and 700 V working voltage and below 780 V open-circuit. Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, eMalahleni and Kimberley.
