Overview

This 15 kW solar pump inverter turns DC power from solar panels into three-phase AC to drive a pump motor of up to 15 kW, with no grid connection. MPPT (maximum power point tracking) squeezes the most from the panels as the light changes, and the output runs at up to 32 A across 0 to 600 Hz. It works with surface and submersible pumps, so it suits large borehole, irrigation, livestock and water transfer systems on farms and remote sites.

Where it works

It suits large centre-pivot and drip irrigation on farms in the Free State, Limpopo and the Western Cape, deep borehole schemes for municipalities, and mining water transfer where diesel or grid power costs too much. The string voltage of your panels must stay between 540 and 700 V under working conditions, and below 780 V open-circuit on cold mornings.
