Description

Overview

This 1000 L slimline water tank is only 790 mm in diameter and 2000 mm tall, so it slips into side passages, townhouse courtyards and the gap beside a garage where a round tank will not fit. It is rotationally moulded from UV-stabilised, food-grade LLDPE and weighs just 25 kg empty. A leaf catcher comes with it. See more water tanks for other sizes.

Key features

Space-saving 790 mm diameter, 2000 mm high body
Fits narrow walkways and tight plots

430 mm lid
Leaf catcher supplied as standard

Options

One tank in three colours, all at R 1,972 (VAT incl.). The body, fittings and leaf catcher are identical.

Green, R 1,972: blends into hedges and garden beds.
Grey, R 1,972: a neutral match for walls and paving.
Tan, R 1,972: suits face brick and plaster.

Colours can vary slightly from the photos.

Where it works

It is made for rainwater harvesting off a garage or carport roof in tight Gauteng and Cape Town plots, and for small commercial buildings with little space. Two base outlets let you feed a pump and a garden tap from one tank. For a wider tank in the same height range, look at the JoJo 2,700 L vertical tank; for a smaller one, the JoJo 500 L vertical tank.

Above-ground, stationary use only. Fix it to a wall or bracket once filled, since the narrow base makes it tall for its footprint.

Questions about this product

Will a 1000 L slimline tank fit in a side passage?

Yes, if the passage is wider than 790 mm and at least 2000 mm high with clearance for the lid. Measure the narrowest point along the route as well as the final spot, so the tank can be carried in.

Can it stand alone without being fixed?

Fix it to a wall or bracket once it is full. The narrow 790 mm base is small for a 2000 mm tall tank, so secure it against wind and knocks. Stand it on a level, prepared base.

How much is delivery to Cape Town for a slim tank?

At 25 kg it falls in the lowest band, up to 30 kg, at R550. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days.
