Description

Overview

This 10 000 L tank combo is built around a 1.5 kW HMS variable-speed steel pump, so the water is stored, treated and pushed through the house in one package. A 145 W UV light hangs inside the vertical tank, and a three-stage 20-inch Big Blue filter set cleans the water on its way out.

Is this combo big enough for a house with three bathrooms?

Yes. It is sized for a six to ten person home with two to three bathrooms. The pump moves up to 133.3 L/min and adjusts its speed to demand, so showers stay steady when a second tap opens. A 10 000 L tank gives you several days of storage.

What does the HMS pump's variable speed actually do?

The pump slows down when demand is low and speeds up when you open more taps. That keeps pressure steady and the motor cooler and quieter. It also starts and stops automatically, waits a moment before restarting, and shuts down if it runs dry or overloads.

How do you deliver a 10 000 L tank to Bloemfontein or Kimberley?

We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane in 1 to 3 days. This combo ships at about 218 kg, over the 100 kg mark, so delivery is on quotation. Give us the town and whether the site is on a tar or gravel road.

Can I replace the filter cartridges myself?

Yes. The filter set is three standard 20-inch housings on a wall frame, and the housing key is included. Swap the cartridges when flow drops or the water tastes off. How often depends on how dirty your water source is.
