It is a three-piece system made up of a mounting ring, a removable sieve and a twist-lock lid, and it replaces the standard tank lid. It fits tanks with a 450 mm opening. Where it works

Install the mounting ring in place of the standard tank lid with the supplied screws, drop the sieve into the ring, and let rainwater flow through it. Cleaning takes minutes: lift the sieve out, empty the debris, rinse it with clean water and put it back. If the sieve wears, replace only the sieve and keep the rest. That makes it practical for rainwater tanks on Western Cape homes, farm tanks in Limpopo and the Free State, school and clinic tanks, and commercial collection systems in Gauteng and KZN.
