Overview

This is blue uPVC pressure pipe, Class 16, in 6 metre lengths. The class rating means 16 bar, and the pipe is made from lead-free unplasticised polyvinyl chloride. It is used across South Africa for drinking water, recycled water and pressure sewer applications, as well as for pool, pond, irrigation and plumbing work.

The smooth internal bore keeps friction loss low, and the pipe is light, corrosion and chemical resistant, and UV resistant for outdoor use. A 6 m length is easy to carry and cut on site.

Where it works

It is the standard choice for swimming pool pipework, pond filtration, irrigation mains, domestic plumbing, water reticulation and potable water lines. On Limpopo and Mpumalanga farms it carries water from pump to tanks and blocks, and on Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal plots it feeds pools.
