Overview

This steel tank stand is built for 10,000 L water tanks. It is made from structural steel with a primed coating against rust, and carries a 2400 x 2400 mm deck. Choose the height from 0.5 m to 9 m to suit your site and how much pressure you want from gravity.

A full 10,000 L tank holds about 10 tonnes of water, so the stand and the ground under it matter. Elevating the tank gives you pressure without a pump, and keeps a large tank safely off the ground.

A 1.0 m height is also listed; ask us for its price. Taller stands give more gravity pressure, roughly 1 bar for every 10 m of height, so a 3 m stand gives about 0.3 bar. Every height has the same 2400 x 2400 mm deck.

Where it works

Farms in Limpopo and the Free State put 10,000 L tanks on tall stands to feed troughs and irrigation by gravity. Schools, clinics and lodges use them for steady pressure when the municipal supply drops, and commercial sites in Gauteng use them for fire and process water.

Tie the tank down to the deck eyelets, because empty tanks are caught by high winds. Near the coast ask for a galvanized version, which resists the salt air better than a primed finish. Installation is not included. See our tank accessories.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Bloemfontein, Mbombela, Rustenburg and Kimberley. Shipping weight is about 930 kg, which is over 100 kg, so delivery is on quotation. Delivery fees follow total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
