Description

Overview

This flowmeter mechanical register is the counter head for the M-100 4″ bulk meter (code M100M), supplied with its gear plate. It reads in decalitres, so each unit on the counter is 10 litres, which keeps the numbers readable at flows up to 1700 L/min.

The face carries a 5-digit counter you reset per delivery and a totaliser that keeps the running figure. When a register has been damaged, fogged or worn out, replacing the head is quicker and cheaper than buying a new meter.

Where it works

Swap in this flowmeter mechanical register on M-100 meters at fuel depots, mine diesel bays in the Northern Cape and Limpopo, and large fleet yards where the old counter has become unreliable. Keeping a spare head on site means a tanker bay is back in service the same day rather than waiting for a full meter. Questions about this product

What does decalitre mean on this register?

Each step on the counter equals 10 litres. On a 4" meter moving well over 1000 litres a minute, a litre counter would spin too fast to read, so the M-100 register counts in tens. Multiply the reading by ten for litres, or read it straight off as decalitres on your dockets.

Will this register fit an M-80 or M-50 meter?

No. This head is matched to the M-100 4" meter. For M-40, M-50 and M-80 meters, use our mechanical register for bulk flowmeters, which comes with the correct gear plate. If you are not sure which meter you have, send us a photo of the nameplate.

Do you deliver to Kimberley, and what does it cost?
