Overview

A stand pipe is a rigid length of pipe that lifts a connection up from the ground, and this one is galvanized steel with precision-cut threads on both ends. It gives you a strong, upright connection point for water tanks, taps, irrigation take-offs and plumbing runs, and it screws straight into compatible fittings and valves.

The galvanized coating protects the steel against rust and weather, which suits outdoor installations. It is a simple, stout part that stays put when a hose is dragged or a tap is leaned on.

Where it works

Use it to raise a tap above a hose bib trough on a Limpopo farm, to build a stock-water stand pipe, to lift an irrigation valve above crop height, or to carry a connection from an underground line on a building site or municipal depot.
