Overview

This 16 mm aluminium spout is a spare for compatible automatic fuel nozzles of the style used on many bowsers and pumps in South Africa. When a spout is bent, cracked or worn at the tip, the nozzle no longer seals in the filler neck and the auto-stop can misfire. Swapping in a new spout is quicker and cheaper than replacing the whole nozzle.

How do I know the spout is worn out?

Look for a bent or flattened tip, cracks near the thread, or a loose fit in the filler neck. A worn spout can leak around the neck and stop the auto-stop sensing a full tank. If the nozzle itself is fine, replacing only the spout is the cheaper repair.
