Overview

This 0.37kW 4 inch borehole motor is an oil-filled submersible motor for 220 V three-phase supply, built to drive a matching Vega 4SD or 4ST pump end of the same power rating.

At 0.37 kW this is the smallest motor in the 4 inch range, suited to shallow boreholes and low-flow household or garden supply. Do not connect this motor straight to a 220 V single-phase plug. It must run from a variable speed drive (VSD) or a solar pump inverter, which turns single-phase or solar power into three-phase output.
