Overview

This auto fuel nozzle 19mm is an automatic shut-off nozzle with a 19 mm spout and a 3/4″ inlet, rated up to 60 L/min. The wider spout is the usual choice for diesel filler necks on trucks, tractors and earthmoving plant, and the auto-stop closes the valve when the tank is full.

It is the same body as our 16 mm auto fuel nozzle, which suits cars and bakkies. If you prefer a sturdier cast body with a swivel included, look at the 19 mm auto-stop nozzle rated to 70 L/min.

Where it works

The auto fuel nozzle 19mm is at home on farm diesel tanks filling tractors in the Free State and Mpumalanga, on contractor bowsers fuelling TLBs and graders, and at fleet depots refuelling trucks. Municipal workshops use it on the diesel pump for refuse trucks and water tankers. Push the spout fully into the filler neck before squeezing, so the sensing port at the tip sits inside the tank and the shut-off triggers when it should. Should I choose a 16 mm or 19 mm spout?

Go by the vehicles you fill. A 16 mm spout fits narrow filler necks on cars and many bakkies. A 19 mm spout suits trucks, tractors and plant with wider diesel necks. If you fuel a mixed fleet from one pump, many sites keep one of each on separate hoses.

Will it fit my existing hose?

It has a 3/4" inlet, the common size on farm and depot transfer pumps. If your hose is 1", use a 3/4" x 1" reducing swivel between hose and nozzle. Check the thread type on your hose end, and send us a photo if you want us to confirm before ordering.

How much is delivery to Middelburg?

The nozzle ships at 1.2 kg, so it falls in the lowest band: R550 for orders up to 30 kg, Middelburg included. Our own trucks run from Polokwane and normally deliver in 1 to 3 days. Orders of R20,000 or more including VAT are delivered free.
