Description

Overview

This adblue nozzle is an automatic, auto-stop dispensing nozzle built from polypropylene and 304 stainless steel. It delivers up to 60 L/min through a 16 mm spout and shuts itself off when the AdBlue level reaches the spout tip, so the tank is filled without overflow.

AdBlue attacks aluminium and brass, which is why a normal fuel nozzle must not be used. Keep this one on the AdBlue line and a dedicated diesel nozzle on the pump next to it, such as the 19 mm auto-stop diesel nozzle with swivel or the 16 mm auto-stop nozzle with magnetic holder.

Where it works

An adblue nozzle with auto-stop belongs on the urea dispensers at long-haul truck depots on the N1 and N3, bus company yards, mine haul fleets and municipal workshops running newer trucks with SCR systems. Spilt AdBlue leaves white crystals on the chassis and wastes a product that is not cheap, so the auto-stop pays its way quickly. Questions about this product

Can I use a normal diesel nozzle for AdBlue?

No. AdBlue is a urea solution that attacks aluminium, brass and copper. A metal diesel nozzle corrodes, and the dissolved metal contaminates the AdBlue, which can damage the SCR catalyst on the truck. Use a plastic and stainless nozzle like this one, and keep it only for AdBlue.

Will the auto-stop work on a small 12V AdBlue pump?

Auto-stop nozzles rely on steady flow and line pressure to trigger the shut-off. Most dedicated AdBlue pumps and dispensers give enough, but very low-flow or gravity setups may not shut off reliably. Tell us your pump model and flow rate and we will confirm before you order.
