Overview

This 1-inch auto fuel nozzle stops the flow by itself when the tank is full, so one operator can fill a truck or tractor without standing over the filler neck. It is the magnetic-holder version of our 1-inch range, with a swivel at the inlet and a flow range of 0 to 120 L/min. The body is cast aluminium, which keeps the weight at 1.5 kg for all-day use.

Where it works

A 1-inch nozzle suits high-volume diesel filling: grain farms in the Free State, mine haul fleets on the Mpumalanga coal belt, and transport depots along the N1 through Limpopo. Pair it with a pump that can actually deliver the flow, otherwise a smaller nozzle does the same job. What flow rate does this 1-inch nozzle handle?

It is rated for 0 to 120 L/min, which suits bulk diesel filling from a high-flow pump or a gravity-fed bulk tank. Your actual flow depends on the pump, hose bore and tank head. If your pump only delivers 40 L/min, the nozzle will work, but a smaller one costs less and is easier to handle.

Does it shut off by itself?

Yes. It is an automatic auto-stop nozzle, so the flow cuts when the fuel backs up to the sensing port in the filler neck. You should still stay with the vehicle while filling, because shut-off depends on a normal filler neck and a clean spout. Ask us if you need guidance on your tank type.
