Description

Overview

The 600 L horizontal water transport tank is a compact polyethylene tank that carries 600 kg of water on a bakkie or small trailer, or stores it as a stationary tank. It sits between our 500 L and 1000 L tanks, and Kamano delivers it anywhere in South Africa.

It is rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, UV resistant and BPA free, with a black inner liner against algae and ribs for strength. The tank is 1280 mm long, 850 mm wide and 920 mm high and weighs 30 kg empty, so two people can handle it easily. The supplied connectors are 40 mm red tank connectors, and the lid is 180 mm.

Where it works

Farmers in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the North West fill it for stock water and spraying. Builders and landscapers in Gauteng and the Western Cape use it as a site water supply, and small workshops keep one for wash-down. Strap it down once it is full, because 600 L adds about 600 kg to the load. Use it above ground and install it according to the maker’s guidance. Installation is not included.

What is the difference between the 500 L and 600 L tank?

The 600 L tank is longer and wider at 1280 x 850 mm against 1120 x 820 mm, and 30 kg against 25 kg. The 500 L comes in Green or Tan with a child safety lid. Measure your load bin to choose.

Can I use it as a stationary tank?

Yes. It is listed for transport and stationary use. Put it on firm, level ground above ground level, keep the lid on, and secure it once it is full.

What is delivery to Mahikeng or Rustenburg?

At about 30 kg the tank is in the up to 30 kg band, so delivery is R550 and takes 1 to 3 days from Polokwane. Orders of R20,000 or more, VAT incl., ship free.
