Description

Overview

This 5000 L combo suits properties with higher water demand. It pairs a large vertical tank with a gutter kit, first flush kit, Gutter Buddy and fittings, so the roof and tank are connected from day one. The tank code is V5000W.

The tank is virgin LLDPE with a food grade black inner liner, a 1.0 SG rating and a 180 mm lid. It stands 2150 mm tall on an 1800 mm diameter base and weighs 80 kg empty, so check your site for height and diameter before ordering. Want it raised? See the 5000 L combo with ring stand. For catching leaves ahead of the downpipe add another Gutter Buddy. The wider rainwater harvesting range has downpipes and fittings.

Where it works

Five thousand litres gives a farm or business a real buffer. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free. Questions about this product

How much ground space does the tank need?

The tank is 1800 mm in diameter and 2150 mm high, so you need a level, compacted base a little wider than that and clear height above it. Check overhead obstructions and the gutter fall before you order. Vertical tank stands are available at extra cost.

Can I drink the water?

Not without treatment. The first flush kit helps keep roof dirt out of the tank, but harvested rainwater is not potable on its own. For drinking you need filtration, treatment and testing. For gardens, livestock and washing it works well.

Do you deliver to Kimberley?
