Overview

This is the high-flow member of the 5000 L variable-speed family. The HMS1500 is a 1.5 kW steel-body pump with a maximum flow of 133.3 L/min, so it can serve a large house, a guest lodge or a small irrigation block from one tank. A 55 W UV-C light sits in the tank and a triple 20-inch filter frame cleans the water on the way out. The tank is a vertical LLDPE unit 1800 mm across and 2150 mm high. Pair a 5000l tank with 1.5kw VSD pump and UV light when flow matters as much as clean water.

Select a Green, Grey or Tan tank. The pump, UV light and filters are identical, and each colour is R 22,320 (VAT incl.).

Where it works

It fits busy households and small commercial sites in KZN and Gauteng, where several bathrooms and a garden run at once. On a smallholding in the Free State it can feed an irrigation line and the farmhouse from the same tank. Check your electrical supply, as a 1.5 kW motor draws more current. Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay, Mbombela, eMalahleni and Johannesburg. The kit ships at about 112 kg, which is over 100 kg, so delivery is on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free, and this kit qualifies. Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model. Ask us for the warranty terms on the pump, UV light and filters. Installation is not included.
