Overview

This 5.5 kW DC-AC solar pump inverter turns solar panel power into three-phase output at up to 13 A to run borehole pumps, irrigation pumps and other three-phase pump motors without mains power. It works with surface and submersible pumps, and Kamano delivers it to every province.

MPPT (maximum power point tracking) keeps the panels working at their best point as the weather changes, so the pump gets the most from each hour of sun. At 5.5 kW and 13 A this is the middle size, suited to bigger borehole pumps and irrigation pumps.

The input window is 540 to 700 V DC with a maximum open-circuit voltage of 780 V, so size your series strings to stay inside it on a cold morning. The inverter is IP20 rated and air-cooled with a fan, so mount it indoors or in a ventilated, dry enclosure out of the weather.
