Overview
This 2200 L full house kit is a rotomoulded water tank sold with a 1.1 kW monoblock centrifugal pump, a 3-stage wall-mount filter and a 55 W UV light, so stored water is pumped, filtered and sterilised in one line. The 1.1 kW monoblock centrifugal pump is the strongest in the monoblock range: up to 125 L/min at heads up to 37 m, for bigger sprinkler sets and longer runs.

Where it works
A 2200 L tank fits a town house, guesthouse or small business in Gauteng or KZN where space is tight and you want treated water at the tap. Use it for larger sprinkler sets, cleaning and livestock watering where flow matters. Borehole and rainwater are the usual sources, and the filter and UV stage polishes them before the tap. We suggest a lab water test on any borehole supply before you treat it as drinking water.

Is the 1.1 kW pump too big for a house?
Not too big, but more than most homes need. It gives up to 125 L/min at heads up to 37 m, which suits larger sprinkler sets, yard washing and livestock watering. For taps and a small garden, a 0.55 kW or 0.75 kW kit costs less and does the job.
How much is delivery to Ermelo for this tank kit?

What base does a 2200 L tank need?
A full 2200 L tank holds about 2,200 kg of water, so it needs a level, compacted base, ideally a concrete slab or a built stand, with no sharp stones under it. Fill it only once it is in its final position. Do not move it when full.
Will the filter and UV light make borehole water drinkable?
The 5 micron, carbon and nano silver cartridges take out sediment, chlorine, taste and odour, and the 55 W UV light targets bacteria. Water quality varies by borehole, so have a sample tested first. Ask us about replacement cartridges and UV lamps for this kit.
